I got this number from the booking office in Waverley Station in Edinburgh in order to cancel A Virgin train ticket. Called the number and got an Indian lady who just kept saying "hello". To me this sounds like a money-making scam and I am so frustrated!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

It is a call centre for sure because I am not waiting for a call from Andover. I didn t answer and they tried to call me 5 times in an hour. Crazy.
Was sent straight to voicemail, even though they rang me. Disconnected call and immediately got a message on my phone advising about blocking scam callers, was about to click yes, when a link appeared to a website? Seems like some kind of scam, avoid and beware!

I got the same as Mimi ..silence than hangup. Also had nuisance calls from 01978753484 which may be a PPI scam according to others who ve had same caller. I m over 70 and these calls are annoying and worrying. Time to look at call blocking I think!
