TAXES / HMRC Automated message. Had similar before. “This is HMRC. You are under investigation for tax fraud. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. Failure to do so immediately will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.....” I did not press 1, so cannot say what happens if one does.

Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.

Keep getting calls from this number but when answered there s a huge pause. had plenty of similar calls in the past like this which are scam calls usually about an accident so reporting them as am TPS registered so no one should be calling

i never answer calls I cant identify but I sometimes look them up on this site. this looked like a normal number so I nearly answered but thank goodness I did not. no one needs telemarketing calls.
SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Said he was calling from Utility Care Club, trying to sell additional warranty on my boiler. I am so glad I hung up on the call, because I checked the reviews on the internet. They don't have a good reputation at all.

I didn't answer and no message was left. This was the first call I received from a number that began with 01653669, the second ended in 827; I presume they were both from the same person/company.
