Lame sales call, claiming to work with BT Openreach. Considering that Openreach hasn t been called "BT Openreach" for several years, BT divested the company in March 2017. So, lame start to sales call. Then claims to save money on broadband and phone, I think we have all heard these claims.
SCAM HMRC only informs you about tax refunds through the post or through your pay via your employer. All emails, text messages, or voicemail messages saying you have a tax refund are a scam. Do not click on any links in these messages, and forward them to HMRC 's phishing email address and phone number.

SCAM - they were trying to offer to switch my phone contract to get a new iPhone. I had to ask repeatedly for them to remove me from their calling list before they listened and said goodbye. Number is now blocked.

Pertaining to be NCA re use of my NI Number for fraudulent activity. Automated voice said "press 1 to speak to an officer". I Hung up and provided no details - indeed why would a government agency be phoning from a Vodafone Mobile Number?!
They called at 5:30am. I didn't answer and Do Not Disturb cut the call off.
