He interrupted me and said that I have no idea how good his offer and let them in front of me. I interrupted him and said, "Not interested" and hung up. Why not understand the "No"?

Caller had Liverpool accent and said was from a company called ACA. Wanted to speak about a 'bump in the road' and possible compensation. I asked where she had got details from and was told it was from an 'opt-in provider' and when I asked for more details on who would be providing information on something that had not happened she hung up. Number now blocked.

When I picked up the phone I was told I was being called as I had had an accident. It wouldn't have been me anyway as I had answered my wife's mobile phone !! I asked who the company who the company was... I had an answer mumbled back at me... Then asked whether I would like to discuss the accident - I asked who had asked that the company call me.... and the caller hung up ! Technique - asked them a question, every time they ask you one !!

This number called me at 17.50 on a sunday evening advicing they are calling from Sovrign housing(who is the housing association we are with) Advicing they needed to come round and look at our wall that needed repairing. We do not have a wall that needs repairing but a little scared how they know my name and address details and calling at this time on a sunday evening it really did not sound like someone calling from Sovrign....

Caller allegedly from TPS checked my address and name, then said my card was going to expire and to give him the details. I told him "no" (or a word very similar) and hung up. TPS don't ask for any such details. Don't fall for it.
