Answered a call from this number, where the caller, Chris (with a thick Indian accent), claimed to be from O2 and wanted to know how my day was. Since I'm not an O2 customer, I hung up and blocked the number.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.
Has called several times. This time I answered and it was a recorded voice saying a large amount is trying to be taken for a transaction if not you press 1 . If you press nothing it just cuts of and if you try to ring back it does ring at all. Possible scam.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.
