Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.

Today it's 01202137087 - yet another call purporting to be from the Bournemouth area but it could be India or Japan! I have no idea what the caller would have had to say because I never pick up these calls and they never leave a message. I've blocked the number as I have done with all the other 0120 numbers that call me.

Just had a cold call several times from these using different numbers. They claimed to be clawing back mis-sold PPI, but having not had loads or credit cards, this can t be the case. Seemed to want to get me to confirm sensitive information which i wasn t comfortable giving out over the phone

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.

Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. They have twice told me that I will be removed from their call list.

SPAM - Rude and aggressive man on the phone. Tried selling me electric for a unit we'd just moved into. When I told him I'd sorted it myself directly he tried to say I was paying over the odds. When I told him I definitely wasn't he shouted down the phone at me and hung up... if they're going to try and sell you something you don't need then at least make them friendly!

Fraud, pretending to be a pretty chinese girl messaging through WhatsApp, but it is unacceptable an incompetent scammer who is very poor at his job. Seems to be in the extreme end of stupid. Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.
