SCAM Call from local number pretending to be BT. Said issues with router and bank payments. Asked to download anydesk app, to access pc remotely and confirm 9 digit code. Asked for email address, to open up bank statement, balance and recent transactions. Scamming an 80yr old, female - outrageous.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Had a text from this number stated it was from Evri, re a delivery on checking they wanted a fee to re deliver an unknown item.

Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.

Called to say there had been fraudulent activity on my bank card.

I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.

Fraud Pretending to be from Sky technical department and that my router was giving me problems.. it was sometimes fast and sometimes slow, (aren’t they all ?) anyway, I told him I didn’t have a router, so he asked if I had a cell phone, I told him no, then the call ended.. probably trying to find someone else with a dodgy router. !
