I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Machine called, purporting to be my bank and telling me about two recent transactions in my bank. I was offered to press 2 to speak to an advisor, which I did and a woman answered (Asian accent) " 'allo, 'allo" then "can I help you authorise you bank account?". I declined. My bank knows nothing of this. So - this number is obviously using technology to try and get access to people's bank accounts.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

This number called Saturday 4th March early to say they were calling on behalf of amazon they were trying to stop our amazon account being hacked and our credit cards charged. Short story they are scammers trying to release you of your funds. They then continue with mobile phone numbers after this point. Be extremely careful when answering this number.

The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.

Please note that the caller fraudulent caller called from +44 1244 757126, 359936 While the first part indicates to be a landline from Chester in England, the second part means that the landline is "highjacked". Caller claimed to be calling from MBNA, but is definitively fishing!

SCAM A slow talking woman told me that I have a Bitcoin wallet and she is calling from Blockchain. She directly asked “how did you get your wallet?” Very strange call and question. Apparently I don’t own any Bitcoin Wallet. (I live in Sweden and I have a Swedish number)

An innocuous text message "Where are you? I am waiting for you?" but from an unrecognised number and the fact that it has already been searched 124 times in the last 2 weeks make me suspect that this is some sort of SCAM.

SCAM Caller said that they were from Curry's PC world. I knew it was a scam call and told the caller I wasn't interested and ended the call. If they were a genuine caller then they would have known that Curry's PC world no longer exists as it's now known as just Curry's. I checked the number and it actually belongs to Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling, Scotland.
