SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!

Mark Bates is a specialist Insurance Broker for over 50 s and disabled people. They are a no threat caller if you re not interested ask to be removed from the re caller list. Polite genuine business that I have dealt with and had no problems for a number of years. A no hard sell telemarketer.

These people have called the last 4 days on mobile, today I have received 7 calls. Every hour basically, I ve tried calling back no one picks up, they are getting info on apparently ppi refunds. They want all your details. Please do not engage these people or pick up the phone as they are waiting for confirmation the phone is active.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.
Missed the call, they left no voicemail so tried returning call which went straight to an answering service.
