Appears to be a spam call from HMRC.

I tried to book a room at The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, Abingdon Road, OX1 4PS, Oxford and called a number 08448542910 indicated on their website. I had to call twice as there was an automated telephone service and no one was able to answer my phone calls. Last month I saw a charge of 1.38 GBP plus VAT on my phone bill!! What a wrong way to make money!! Looks like the hotel is doing that badly so they have to charge potential customers to simply book a room. According to the reviews on the above number

The caller stating saying about the RSPCA so I listened to what he was saying and as he went on realised he was going to ask for money, ?10 a month thats all, I said no thanks, then he went on about cruelty to animals and said what about ?1 a week, I still said no thanks, had to hang up in the end

Automated call calming my Internet would be cut off in 24hours, think ist a phishing scam

Called and hung up as soon as I answered. I am registered with the TPS so will be reporting them for breaching that.

really nasty annoying calls from them,just dont ever stop.

RP accent. Claimed to be British Telecom who will close our internet connection within 24 hours because they detected hacking attempts unless we speak to them. Press 1 to call them. I put the phone down. We don?t have a BT Internet service.

Got 5 miss calls and answered 6th on landline my wife spoke to them after she said no thank you, it was about PPI, they wanted to speak to me and they are stupid morons that doesn’t listen to not interested. Blocked that’s about 10 numbers blocked in 3 days.

Automated phishing call claiming to be from internet service provider and threatening disconnection,

Pretending to be UNITE (the union) and asking for personal details.

If I don t recognise the number, I don t answer, simple as that.

Purporting to be from btopenreach. Wanting us to change something on our router. Couldn't understand "george's"accent. They have called 3 times today.

Missed call - voicemail was left by an automated voice with no company details given at all, just a rather threatening voicemail advising beginnings of Lawsuit!!
