This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!

Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.

SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.

SPAM Three calls today (so far) from this number. I did not pick up, having seen elsewhere that the phone block 188321 is operated by AQL Wholesale Ltd, and I was not expecting a call from them. Their trade mark seems to be to call three or four times a day if you don't answer. Others report, energy relief, loft insulation and property assistance as reason for the calls.

Unfortunately I did not get the name of the company but they were very aggressive at trying to make me claim for fictional "injuries" from a recent Road Traffic Accident (no fault of mine, another car scraped the side of my vehicle). Locksmith in Rhyl. My phone rang, I didn't recognise the number but answered it because it was local. They picked my lock to ley me in after I lost my keys and called me back just to see if everything was okay.
