I received a text from this number claiming to be my bank - reporting an alleged suspicious spend. Not something I recognised so responded N as advised. Nothing further from them as they were supposed to call back. Is it a hoax? Obviously not my banks contact number.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. Im not from the uk. And the guy that called me was clearly indian but spoke english. Never gave his name or company that he called for. obvious scam is obvious.

The number contacted me and I could not pick up. Tried to ring the number back and all I heard was a tone.
Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.
Called several times and left no voicemail.
When I was called today from this phone number, my phone showed me that is a potential fraud call, so I didn't answer, I've blocked it.

Noticed Scottish code, am in south England. Windows and doors mentioned. Lady called Sam rang saying I believe you are the home-owner......I had said nothing and left a silence then shouted NO!! Ended the call. Hope she's recovered her hearing. Blocked number with BT.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
