Recorded message reporting unusual activity on my credit card. One transaction from Amazon and a foreign transaction for 999 pounds. Calls from this and associated numbers 02081443801 and 3803 have been persistent on my mobile since October 2022. They have recently become daily. They have of course long since been blocked. They are now a nuisance on my landline, blocked again. They need to be shut down.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Someone "from Microsoft". When challenged about their life choices on attempting to scam people they first denied it and then hung up. If it's important I'm sure they have my email address. ????

An Indian sounding man said he was from one of the newest UK 'Habits companies' and wanted to ask me about my habits. Told him I knew he was a scammer and he hung up before I could finish my sentence! As well as my phone number he had my name and address which he said was obtained from public available data - very worrying!
