Yet another unknown unwelcome call on my phone. I never answer unknown numbers and always find them via Google as being nuisance callers.

Amazon Prime Renewal scam. Just hang up and do NOT press 1 .

Line was silent when I picked up phone then “clicked” off after about 3 secs; probably scammers multi calling.

it s a company called Simply Financial and they are one of these Debt assistance companies. I finally got them to stop calling my number.

Who called me

Kept asking for the owner then putting the phone down when challenged.

Call went through to answering machine. Rang off part way through message.

Had atleast 10 calls this week from this number telling me it's Barclay's and I,m owed £3000 from loans taken out

CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. I TOO MADE A PURCHASE OF SPACE BAGS AND REMEMBER RECEIVING THE PHONE CALL AND THE HOLIDAY BROCHURE BUT CAN T RECALL ANY MENTION OF A CHARGE IF I DIDN T DECLINE THE OFFER OF THEIR SERVICES....WHAT A SCAM. This guy hacked my friends Facebook and sent me a message saying "hey can I ask you a massive favour? I m having trouble with my PayPal, can I send you my months wages, and meet you for it later?". I d know this guy 10 years, I had no reason to say no... but I was busy at work so I stupidly gave him my log on to sort it out himself, I only had £100 in there anyway. Girl with friendly UK accident, asking me about a car accident they claimed I had. When I asked how she knew this, she then said Incident at work? . They try and get you to talk about some incident they can help you with, but I don t they have any real data. When I asked again where she got the data from, she hung up.
