So, like your correspondent above I powered down then up again after a couple of minutes. All fine. Don't fall for it.

I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) The person/persons from this phone number have been phoning my mobile for nearly a week now so I decided to answer just to hear some clown say a sentence speaking in some foreign language of sorts then he swiftly put the phone down whilst sniggering...this sounds like a work place as I could hear quite a few people talking in the background.Please dont answer the phone to these idiots as they seem to be getting some sort of weird satisfaction in it.

My experience is the same as everyone on this page. This is a scam. how can I stop these scammers apart making note of their number and not answering it if they ring again. They may not use the same number though.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers) - can be something different and legitimate, but srry I'm always suspicious considering numbers for shared rate. I recommend to block the whole 0845286xxxx range... Did someone answer this number?
Started yesterday with 2 call and the same today(so far) I never get chance to pick up call before they hang up. Have now put this number in phone to try to block them, so will wait and see if they manage to get through that. Good game, hope you all enjoy playing this at home!

we are called by this number at least two or three times a day every day. We have caller id and do not answer as we don t know anyone in Glastonbury. We have an answerphone but they never leave a message. I have reported the number to offcom have heard nothing. If anyone can tell me who they are I would be grateful.
