I had the same thing today. I am a santander customer. Luckily I googled the number and found this site.

SCAM / SPAM - As others have said this is a scam recorded call claiming to be from HMRC.

Call centre bloke, hung up as soon as I asked what the call was regarding. Asian accent.

Automated message on answerphone saying that it's hmrc with a serious lawsuit big giveaway is that if hmrc were to proceed with a lawsuit 1 it wouldn't be over the phone and 2 they wouldn't wish you a blessed day at the end of the message. F£&@ing stupid scam artists number now blocked.

4 x TODAY BLOCK 1 number they call from a different ALL with the SAME SCAM! Make them STOP!

Utterly disgusted to get this type of a phone call. Getting totally hounded by so many numbers almost every week day. Battery killing bastards, time wasters, probably scamming cunts! So f**king ANGRY RIGHT NOW. Considering taking my life tbh

SCAM. Hmrc has a fraud case against me. No they absolutely do not. Your passport could be suspended! No, no it absolutely won't. Do not answer.

SCAM. Claims to be the UK National Crime Agency giving a security alert.

Unsolicited call, not sure how they got my number. Trying to sell my stocks and shares. Obviously a scam of some sort. Do not answer.

Accident claim

Ignored this call to my mobile. They left a message. David from PPi Claim Line. Telling me I was due a cheque for £1750 and to ring back in on 0208 144 4644. Had personal info like address etc. Clearly a scam and will be reported to Action Fraud. I would e

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437243xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

SCAM - This is a call from the National Insurance Number Authority, fraud has been detected at the border with Wales (needless to say I've been isolating for a year at home, which is nowhere near Wales) and if you don't press 1 now, we will take legal action against your national insurance number. Lady answered, hung up, I called back, a guy answered and denied ever calling me. Blocked as spam on my phone.
