An Asian (possibly Indian) sounding man who claimed he was calling from TPS - telephone preference service and wanted various items of personal information. I told him no he was a scammer and not to phone my number again - then I blew a whistle into the phone until he hung-up.

I believe she may have said something about my washing machine, but can't be 100% certain. I put the phone down as she was too hard to understand and the line was very quiet.

Phoned them back after they woke me up, to see who it was, as I used to live in Brighton. Got An answering message saying “Thank you for calling Compare the Networks dot com” so I promptly hung up and blocked the number on my phone.
