Asian sounding company keep phoning saying they are doing marketing, then proceed to ask a string of questions about age, marital status, life insurance, phone provider, IT provider, TV package provider. I kept saying I didn t want any more phone calls and where this information was going, he kept ignoring me and asking the same questions saying they would not contact again but wouldn t say that they would not pass the information on to other parties. called me on Sunday afternoon to tell me that I have a bitcoin asked for my banking details to send me the bitcoin

Answered this call and was met with a dialling tone ... Googling the number showed it to be linked to "Ambulance Chasers". They won t get a chance to call again as I ve blocked it on my iPhone. I have been inundated with calls in the last week from different numbers, but don t know why as I HAVEN T had an accident! Hopefully the law will be changed soon to bin these nuisance calls.

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

Been called at 5:45 and when picked up automated voice asked me to enter my card details and press the pound key to confirm!!

Scam call , Indian woman claiming to be from BT regarding my BT internet line , told her to F-ck off get a proper job !

Accident advice something or other, was called a b!tch when I asked for my details to be removed from their system. Reported to the ICO.

I was told to f... off when I said I had no knowledge of the accident that he had a report about.

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. Please press 5 to speak to us". Presumably yet another scam to try and get bank details or name and address

After keeping this cold caller on hold the operator then "threatened" that he had my number and would call many more times ending with calling me a F***ing bovine!! five minutes later he (Geordie lad) called

how did they get my number and I donot want their calls.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Didn't answer after reading comments on this site.

This number rang advising illegal activity has taken place on my internet and I should press 1. Needless to say, I ignored this. Also rang again by 01633976572 saying the same.

I have been contacted by this number every day (some time twice a day)for the past week. each time it has been for the same contract opportunity each time I tell them NO! Their English is very very bad I can hardly understand them. They are all from India. Research show me if you contract through them they don t pay up. IT Contractors Avoid this company.

Called me twice and when I answered they put the phone down.
