Unfortunately they will have shared your number with other companies who make these nuisance calls. So be prepared to get even more if you answer this one. I have ansafone on 24/7 and seldom answer unknown numbers. But since this one is London and with the current emergency going on there with the fire, I answered in error. Scam call I believe.

This is British Gas I just had boiler serviced. I have answered the call but they keep calling, they call to try to con you into having a new boiler installed. It now needs answering again to let them know you are just going through the channels to report them and they can get fined. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1622370xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing - classical accident chasers, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

I refused to confirm any details or give a reference number (I don t have one - I ve never heard of them till yesterday). I ve been contacted in the past by debt collectors looking for Steven Griffiths (who isn t me) so I assume this is what this is about. The guy wouldn t continue the call so I advised I would be blocking them.
