Just had a call asking if we did embroidery services (which we don't) and digital services for design work. He then asked me for the prices we charge for this? Automated call to start, saying that my subscription to Amazon will auto renew at £79, and to press 1 to talk to someone about cancelling, I don't pay subscription for Amazon, I was told that it was £79 a month and that I needed to get a cancellation code and fill out a form to cancel!!! I hung up.

An automated vioce usually, claiming various things, in this instance, claiming to be an automated message from my 'bank' regarding a suspicious £300 Amazon charge, it then asks you to press a button option to respond. Don't do it, as I recall, doing so ensures you will get put on a list for more calls, simply because a 'human' responded

I was in a different room but heard a voice coming from the phone. How can they do that? The voice had gone by the time I got to the phone and I was too far away too hear what it said, but I have now blocked it as no one I know would do that.
SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.
