I'm not sure about this call at all, he said his name was Alex (but I can't remember the name of the company he was calling from). He kept asking me to repeat my answers - even if it was a simple yes or no, I didn't repeat, I just asked him a question - this only happened twice before he hung up on me. I've read that there are some scams where the called attempts to get you to say some key words to record them. I don't know if this was one of those calls - but he did give up really quickly. Definitely left

Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.
