I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.

Have been changed from Virgin to 02 a month ago amp just got my 02 bill amp had been charged for sms messages to the above number over 3 different days while in Mexico totalling 12 texts which I know I hadnt sent amp some of the times they were sent was when I was asleep So even if I had done it in my sleep there would be evidence in my messages which there isnt Didnt text or call from my phone as I knew I would be charged while away 02 couldnt explain what had happened bit they did refund the money

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart.
