Received call from this number 8.11.14. I too am registered with TPS, which leads me to wonder just what TPS do all day, because they're definitely not stopping scam calls ...
Had a call from this number, poor quality connection, some woman with an Indian accent who said she was from BT Openreach. She had my email address (probably through a website I own) and told me there had been some suspicious activity. I told her not to talk rubbish and that she was a scammer, and she hung up.

I used to work for this firm they are based in Teignmouth and yes, they sell your details on to other companies, they will ask your Managing Directors name etc, plus email and fax etc, then sell it on. Best thing you can do is not to answer, they will try more than once as your number will come up again ... About six times!!
