TAXES / HMRC - Auto voice said I was going to be fined and I owe money because of a non payment to HMRC. I hung up.
Plan.com I answered promptly, but a message saying if I need to talk, call 01952 780573. So why call from a different number? Seem to be trying to sell telephone services.

I was called by this number 09:34 on 03 July 2023. It was an autodialer with an American accent telling me I had returned an HMRC envelope and now further action would be taken if..... This is a scam, claim to be calling from EE Promotions. Tried selling me a Iphone 15 Pro so somehow there have a phone which is not even been made yet. Didn't even ask who I was. Do not give them any information. EE provides a list of numbers on there website where there will call you from, this is not on that list.

Hi Everyone. I wasn't sure whether this message was spam or not, so I rang up Causeway Hospital switchboard and discovered that it was 100% genuine. They put me through to the Validation Team and they had all my details and these were correct. The appointment had been made 2 years ago, so that's why I wasn't sure about it (basically, due to this long covid-related delay, I'd forgotten all about seeing my GP back then and being referred on).
I got a call from this number,I didn't answer,and checked the voicemail and it says "online shopping from your visa card,to report this a fraud charge press 1 to cancell the payment,if it is not done by you" 100% scam
This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others
