Definitely a scam. They must use a system that generates a local number as I’m getting them calling at me multiple times a day. Already had 2 today and it’s not even 3pm yet. Asked for a person who was unknown to me. No idea who they were. Had a number of smilar phone number calls today but this was the first one I had answered.
SCAM Will claim to be trying to investigate crimes and supposedly recover money you supposedly lost to trading scams. Fact is they are the scammers. Quoted my full name in opening sentence.
Call from this number alleging to be a court enforcement officer regarding an unpaid advertisement debt. Definitely fraud and reported to Action Fraud and police. Tried to get over £2000 from me. Very personable bloke allegedly called Alan Wise. If you get anyone from this number, it is fraud. Don't pay and report.
