Had no calls but a text from the number saying that are trying to contact me regarding my pension and how it is performing in the current economy. No company name provided.
Scam call saying that my BT internet contract will expire today unless I press 1 to renew. I don't have a BT internet contract.
Received a call on my mobile from this number but nobody on the line when I accepted the call. When I called back I received a message saying that it was a non-existent number.

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. This number 01730267591 was used to make an automated call to my land line. The call claimed to be from BT saying that they were going to cut off my internet that day (05/11/2018). It asked me to press 1 to keep my internet service. As I am not a BT customer and have had similar calls before I put the phone down but I am concerned that other people could be scammed.

A man claiming to be from office of fair trading called saying I had £ 5000 cheque from ppi which they had claimed for me and I had to buy a £250 Ukash voucher and then the cheque would be delivered I questioned this and the caller calling himself Peter McGuire became rather frustrated I said I would look into it and he should call me back tomorrow! O FT website have a warning about phone scams like this!
