Answered this one by mistake..Apparently "ee" have selected me for a new handset. One of only 500 - yeah right. Unsolicited call, not welcomed and I changed my mobile contract only a month ago..so definitely a load of hogwash.

The caller tried to persuade me that a) they were from BT and b) that cyber-hackers were piggy-backing my internet connection to download illicit material without having to reveal who they are. I questioned them e.g. saying 'why should they need to use my line?' since it's so easy to download stuff anonymously from anywhere in most countries around the world.
