This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
Recieved a call on my mobile saying this was O2, during the call now gave me a lnumber of my personal details. Also sent a text with a numerical code during the conversation which came up in the O2 column of messages. He discussed a new deal which all sounded very plausible (and something he could set up today). The numbers trace back to a hosting company called Voxlogic. I gave them a call today (0333 002 0000) and spoke to the support team and explained my situation. The man at the other end checked all the various numbers beginning with 0843 724... and said the are registered to a company called Money Help Marketing. I have had over 20 calls from this number. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I have asked them 13 times to stop calling me. Supervisor talked over me then hung up. They say I am due £1650 back in ppi on a loan taken out in 2005 with RBS. Told them I have never had a loan with them. They then told me Bank of Scotland and RBS were the same bank.
