Yet another "you have had an accident" call! Rang off when I asked for the company name.

Yes, l got a call from this number to say that l had been involved in a car accident. I said l hadn t, but asked who had informed them l had. She said the RTA so when l asked where the accident was, surprisingly the line went dead. Feeling bloody annoyed l called the number back, but it just said it was invalid. Not happy.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Just received a call from these chimps at 12.08 pm lunchtime, it even had a picture of the person calling, what a nerve. I use Mr. Number and True Contact on my mobile, the best 2 apps that I ve installed on my mobile, they warn you that it s a spam number calling and if possible, the name, whereabouts and if possible, the nature of the call and if it s suspected spam, it will cut them off. Saves me giving them a few choice words too.

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.
