Claimed to be from an accident helpline calling to discuss a claim. No name or details given, probably a scam.

this number called my 81 year old mother today and used her middle name as contact??? how do they get this information. Please report these telephone thugs!!!!!

They have the audacity to call you, but when you answer the phone they can t even be bothered to speak.

Has rung me around 10 times in the last day, a couple of times I have answered and I the caller has hung up. I thing they are so used to people not answering, they are shocked when someone answers and he just hung up.

Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

My phone was on silent and I am expecting some important call so I do not know who is this number

Claimed to be from BT and said did we know our hub needed updating and would need daily adjustment...sounded like a caller from India.

NEVER call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which will be a very expensive call.

"Industrial Workers Union" scam from Derby had been ringing me daily for around three weeks. Finally gave in to temptation and picked up. "We re totally legit" and "a government body" the man said. Basically boiled down to cold calling people on a tradesman database looking to get money out of past employers for supposed hearing loss. These people are the scum of the earth and the reason this country is going down the tubes. Get a real job before it s too late! Don t trust anyone that asks for more details
