Fraud Pretending to be an epidemic prevention center, claiming that I had not been contacted for several times, and then asking me to press 9 to transfer to human service. There is no specific information provided in the middle, nor any explanation. I have received many calls from robot who ask me to press 9 under this circumstance, all of which are fraud.
Pretending to be from British Gas - telling me to report my meter readings using a weird prefix - I believe this is a phone hacking scam.

Just received a call from this number from an articulate young man who attempted to argue with me when I questioned who he was and shouted over me rather than listening to what I was saying. It was apparently something to do with green energy and saving me money. I said I did not deal with cold callers and asked him not to ring again as he could not save me money as my energy bills are fixed but he said I did deal with cold callers as I had answered the phone! It was altogether a very unpleasant call.

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it.
