I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. SCAM attempt to get me to pick up to avoid being arrested by HMRC as there's a complaint against my account. Apparently!
Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

Scam, they pretend to be from Amazon and say they're confirming receipt of credit card payment for iphone. They then ask you to press 1 to speak to someone if you haven't made this payment. Just ignore the call, they're trying to get your card details so they can actually take money from you.
