The number calls, is silent and leaves no message if the answering machine kicks in. I called back to be told it is DHL and hard luck but they can't tell who is calling me ...

A man claiming to be from office of fair trading called saying I had £ 5000 cheque from ppi which they had claimed for me and I had to buy a £250 Ukash voucher and then the cheque would be delivered I questioned this and the caller calling himself Peter McGuire became rather frustrated I said I would look into it and he should call me back tomorrow! O FT website have a warning about phone scams like this!

I had a missed call from this number but had also received an email from VERY as they hadn t been able to complete my order. The email informed me that they would try to phone me as well. No worries with this number.

Rang off after phone had rang only once, rang again seconds later & phone rang only twice, then rang again after a few seconds & phone rang only 3 times - VERY annoying. Just ignored all 3 calls.

Telesales - Facebook - Rude and abrupt when shown very little interest.

Didn t say what company it was just a PPI claims managment company claims that they bought details from a marketing database company. Missed-called my phone then only identified themselves when called back. Wouldn t trust any company that uses these sort of dodgy marketing tactics.

There are several negative comments with regard to this number, but I have to say that I am grateful for the call as they are in fact a company that are used by dentists that leave a recorded message reminding you of your appointment. I can understand some of the negative comments, but that is not the fault of the company as they can only respond to the telephone number entered and it only takes one digit to be mistyped for the wrong person to receive the call.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam

Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

I missed a call from this number yesterday afternoon. No point in calling them back. Line just keeps getting cut off. Seemed very dodgy. My advice? Either don t answer this number. Or add to your block list.
