A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

SCAM Rude guy called my Irish mobile number. Knew my forename. Wouldn't say where he was calling from. When I asked where he'd gotten the number from, he said I'd "opted in to receive calls from the company", which was bullshit. Selling some sort of finance/crypto scam. He "forgot" his company name...

Automated call with robotic voice pretending to be from HMRC and making accusations of outstanding taxes.

Fraud. They called my mom several times. When I tried to call back. It said "inactive number"... in Russian. Why a UK based mobile operator woud have an automated answer in Russian. Defo scam or fraud.
