I called number back and was told that i knew what i was doing wrong and did i have a solictor or barrister who would work for me. When i pushed for details of why i needed this they ended the call.

When I told them that he had a mistake, he said it must be someone else who lived in my household within the last 3 years. When I told him that we had lived in our house for over a decade and no others living with us, he then put the phone down on me! How rude!!

No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
