I had a call from this number today claiming to be from the legal team at my insurance company LV about an accident id had in Dec where my car was written off. The man knew of my name, address, post code, the date of my crash, and he said that a company called ensure had made a payment to them to forward on to me, but I've never heard of them and never claimed for myself, just the cost of my veichle which was straight forward and all sorted weeks ago. I got this 0808 1698369 from internet search because I was having problem with my Aol e mail and aol on longer provide telephone help line. But this co telephone provides help. So I called them. They asked for my e mail address which I stupidely give.They told me my computer and phone has been hacked in USA by 7 people and I need to purchase some security to block the hackers. I told them i did not call to purchase anything my problem was nit getting all my mails and my settings were set correctly. They the

Rang me 20 times at least in last 2 months. All I do is go through the whole phone call with them when I have time & then tell them won the lottery so not interested in claiming any debts back. But they very persistent so then you tell them how you have just been wast ring there time like they keep doing to others. Or just ask them to hold & they hang up. Be warned will keep ringing forever. ????????????????

Keep calling a business number from a very noisy foreign call centre demanding we tell them which mobile phone provider we use. Hung up on us two times when asked to take off the mailing list

Automated call claiming that there is a tax fraud claim against me and if I don't press 1 a warrant will be issued for my arrest!!!

SCAM told me there was a tax fraud registered in my name and if I didn't press 1 I would be arrested very soon.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1792917xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims (also reclaim money from holidays) / insurance marketing / energy schemes. J
