I just received a call from this number, I answered and a man advised he was calling from EE to advise on offers and deals I can access as I have been with EE ‘a long time now’ (which isnt really true and wouldnt be necessary to say anyway). Young woman claiming to be running a survey on behalf of the NHS. Seemed reasonable at first but then wanted more private details. Once she knew I was a pensioner, she started calling me 'Sweety' and 'Darling'. At that point her unprofessionalism made it likely that this was a scam.

They tried to ask for more information, could barely describe who they were, was just banking on me trusting them since they knew my name, and when I asked they kept spelling it my name back and not answering any of my questions, got annoyed and hanged up before they tried to do anything else

SCAM / SPAM This automated caller has rang a few times recently telling me my internet connection has been hacked and asks me to press digit no.1 on my house phone to help sort out the problem, of course i won't do this never have, its a scam call. My answer phone usually picks up these calls anyway. Pressing digit 1 on your phone can invite them to use your phone line or put you on a high call rate charge which you will have to pay. So do not follow their instructions !
