Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

SCAM said they were from Amazon and asked me to download remote login app to secure my Amazon account. Were then asking me to logon to my online banking to check oli had received a refund from cancellation of Amazon prime £79.99 Luckily I ended the call and deleted the remote login app. Reported to Amazon and changed password

A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.

This is a scam number. Claimed to be from BT Internet, ringing about other devices being connected to my BT Hub. (Rang off when asked why they thought other devices were being used without permission.)
Internet Claimed to be from plusnet....knew my full name and address and said they could get me a better deal. The line was very bad and I found it hard to understand the accent. He assured me it would only take a few minutes, which I said I couldn't spare...so he gave up. Plusnet do not have the number he called on
I am glad to go through the reviews carefully and with the help of some enlightening ones here I made the right decision. I was scammed by a Binary online website last 2 month. I lost a total of $135,000 to them and they denied all my withdrawal request, and gave me all sort of excuses requesting i pay more funds in order to have funds withdrawn. Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

Someone who sounded asian rather than Armenian called and asked me to go to her website. There was so much background noise (usual noisy room full of scammers) I was unable to hear what she was saying except she asked if I bought and sold stocks and shares which I do. I told her I had never heard of her and trusted no one who cold calls me to sell me something. She said she had not told me what she was selling. I suggested she sent me an email as she claimed she knew all my details and hung up.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
