An Indian sounding lady called to say I owed money on a three sim only contract with them. She claimed I had started a new contract with them in May. SPAM Call was supposedly from Currys PC world. Cold call trying to sell something.
SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. I had a call of this number to my work mobile, which highlighted it be suspected Spam so I didn't answer. And within 30 seconds I had a call from the same number to my private mobile!

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent.
