This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.

Was pressing for information about company vehicles but seemed very against actually explaining WHY he wanted that information. Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Friends received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be me with my Profile picture. I've had the same mobile number for over 10 years. This isn't it.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

This number called me outtanowhere, just ringing three times today. I blocked it.
