Answering machine asked caller to leave voice message & he/she hung up

Told me I had been involved in an accident recently. I have blocked the number on my phone

Tried ringing back, stated mobile switched off

Apologies - this is actually a genuine number - RBS fraud office. Check with your bank to authenticate if you get a call. Some one had accessed my account.

had a phone call, answered, before she had finished her sentence it had cut off

five calls over two days. four calls hung up before I could answer. On fifth call they knew my surname. I then terminated call.

This is a pub in Macclesfield, Cheshire, The Ryles Arms. In this instance I believe they called the wrong number. Random...

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

I got a missed call from this number - when I called back just got rock/ pop music and no answer.

As soon as I answered heard a bleep then phone was put down, time wasters

RP accent. Claimed to be British Telecom who will close our internet connection within 24 hours because they detected hacking attempts unless we speak to them. Press 1 to call them. I put the phone down. We don?t have a BT Internet service.

The caller stating saying about the RSPCA so I listened to what he was saying and as he went on realised he was going to ask for money, ?10 a month thats all, I said no thanks, then he went on about cruelty to animals and said what about ?1 a week, I still said no thanks, had to hang up in the end

This is TAPA s number for their investigations team. I am registered with them to stop unsolicited charity advertising requests to my shop. Call them if your business is receiving charity advert calls if you want them stopping.
