No longer do I speak when I answer a number not familiar. If it's a cold call, they will speak first. If it's someone who knows me, they will speak if I don't. This one just hung up, so I can deduce it was an unsolicited and unwanted call and blocked them.
SCAM. Came up as local number supposedly we had an iPhone delivery due to us which we haven’t. Recorded message asking for £500 so we hung up. Don’t answer this number.

The phone number was received in Germany by a fax machine. There are no business or private relationships with the UK. The fax machine could not receive a message. Wrong dialing or spam?

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.

"Max" tel.no. 01292388212 called my house phone and asked for me by surname. I didn't confirm. He then told me that I didn't have cover for central heating. I said I have his number and will check with the fraud squad before following up. I then politely hung up. Maybe a legitimate cold call; but I wasn't interested to find out.

This number is the sender for a text message from Apple telling me my Apple Pay account has been suspended due to unusual activity. I’m not clicking on the attached link as it’s suspicious….but will report to Apple for their take on it.
I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.
