Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. This number is a genuine number but it has been spoofed by unscrupulous people. I called the number back and they have advised of the above and to ignore the call coming from that number. The genuine people are lovely, it’s the people using the number (spoofing it) that are the problem

I received a text from 07547 153344 this morning claiming it was from Evri. It was about a missed parcel delivery and asked me to click on a link to complete a form to reschedule it. I have ignored it as I am not expecting a delivery and the message did not look like other messages I have received from Evri in the past.
