A man called claiming to be from TPS, as I was already registered it was a ‘customer verification call’ ( never had to do this before nor is it on the TPS website) claimed my registration only applied to local calls only, he could apply the block to international calls, I questioned him and he bacame aggressive, would not answer my questions and came out with the same spiel ‘customer verification call’ I hung up and have blocked the number.

Had a call from a lady claiming to be from Talk Talk technical Department. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
