Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you. Mr Peter Johnson (Foreign Accent) Rang me and told me that my internet connection was slow. If i logged onto a site it could help speed it up. He was from BT Techical Help. Thing is i am not with BT and dont have Internet at the address that he rang me on! Numbers given me to ring as well were 0208 36 93 520 and 0137 54 12383

These people are a total nuisance. They are aggressive when they do speak and very rude. This number should be reported to Ofcom and Trading Standards. The more complaints made to the correct authorities the more chance these people will be dealt with.
