call from someone with a south Asian accent saying it was about my Amazon account. As Amazon never call anyone, I told to clear off and put the phone down.

Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet

Glasgow based number, lots of liverpool accents in background and Scouse caller. Called regarding "a feedback about incidents on the road" Hung up when I asked why they were trying to scam people.
I rang this number (01252 860999) back because I didn’t know who had called and don’t know anybody in Aldershot. Automatic voice said “The number you have dialled has not been recognised”. I think it must be a scam caller. Annoying or Dangerous?

Automated call purporting to be Amazon Prime reminding me of my subscription of £79.99 is due to be taken from my bank account. This account is in my daughters name, also if I want to speak to someone it said to dial 1, which I did and got an Asian sounding voice. When I tried to explain she cut me off. Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam.
