Scam caller; Automated call claiming to be visa security

I have just received a call from this number from someone saying they were from vodaphone and that I was to be offered a new handset. I did not listen to the rest of the story as i suspect it was a scam. I cut the call and checked the number immediately. It appears not to be listed as a scam number but beware.

Claimed to be hm revenues and police were gonna talk to me because they were taking legal action against the fact a letter did not get sent to me.

Call claiming to be Bank Security. Called yesterday using a different number. Both sounded like scams.

Got a call very early in the morn, early for me that is, so I was half a sleep, from a man with a Northern Irish Accent from 03002003884 asking about corporation tax payable, he knew many details including my turn over, he asked me to confirm my date of birth and address, I did this, all of this is of course available on the Company's House website. Automated number. Silence; but these bots test whether a telephone line is active and gets answered. Even if we say nothing our telephone number will be added to a 'responded/active' list; a list that is then sold to scammers.

SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.

The real Fedex website is https://www.fedex.com/en-gb/home.html The people sending texts from this number are Scammers committing Fraud.

SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person
