Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

Did not identify themselves on the message but it was about an international money transfer on a debit of credit card. told to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to an advisor. I treated this as a phishing call, ignored the instruction and blocked the number.

Told me they were calling regarding repairs reported to the housing officer - I don't live in that area or rent!

This number is being used for a scam. This number called claiming to be the bank & said two large payments had been drawn from my account- one for Amazon & one international payment . This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions
