Another nuisance call I was about to hang up on but then they seemed to know about my hotpoint washing machine which was apparently about to run out of insurance. I was led to believe I was paying £58 for the 3 year policy. The only thing which stopped them was that I didn t have enough in the account for the £175 the telemarketer was actually trying to put through!!! called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though
This number phoned me today and knew alot about my tarrif etc caller seemed quite amateur to me in his manner. Tried to talk me into changing to contract and when I said to leave it with me, he hung up immediately which to me indicates a scam!!!
