Claiming to be from Microsoft to say they have detected hacking on a computer, which is not switched on (not plugged in to a power supply). He threaten to cancel the Microsoft Licence Number saying - that Microsoft would not support the product and the computer could no longer be used!

This number cold called me regarding an ee phone contract. Can't say for sure it isn't legit, but I have my suspicions as it sounded like a foreign call centre and they had no reason to call me. Plus, according to this website, the number belongs to an electrical lighting manufacturer, not to ee. W@nkers!

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

A SCAM!!! A guy called "Richard" presented himself as someone working for the "gradjobsuk" website and he interviewed me for a job (that I dont even remember ever applying for) and tried to persuade me to buy a course towards a qualification. The whole website is a scam, their jobs are made up and all they do is make graduates buy courses and then stop calling them. Its a total scam, just hang up and dont trust them!

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

Looks like some miscreants are using this number from India and informing the people that they are calling for TataAIA Life Insurance. I got many calls from this number and I can sense that they are fraud. Be careful when you get calls from this number.

UK +447738015632 is a Scam caller. Hang up, block the number & report it. I answered & it took a couple of seconds to connect to the caller, in the way offshore call centres connect. Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World.
